Mechanical optical attenuator is a passive optical attenuator. The shape of the mechanical attenuator is just like the fiber adapter. It can be applied in traditional optical network, optical testing project, FTTx construction and etc which the optical power may be over the limit of the equipment.

The bulkhead mechanical attenuator allows the interconnection of two patch cords. Both fixed value and variable value type attenuator are available. User can select the right one according to the construction environment. It can be used in CATV,LAN,WAN and telecommunications applications.

Female to male mechanical attenuator is assembled with a fixed type connector, so it can only be connected with one patchcord. It can be used in CATV,LAN,WAN,and telecommunications applications.
